Home Depot provided me with the materials to greatly improve the lighting in the shop. \u00a0I used the last of my piece of driftwood to make a really unattractive lighting unit that now sits above my workbench. \u00a0Makes a big difference. \u00a0This combined with the task lights on my drill press and bandsaw and I feel like, well, like I can see clearly now.<\/p>\n

I also made a jig for my router that will work like a mini plane. \u00a0I haven’t tried it yet but I’m hoping I’ll be able to carve tops and plane highly figured wood with more ease\/less grisly mistakes.
